Jan enjoys working with people of all ages. She motivates students with creative incentive programs and selects music materials to fit each individual's needs. When Jan isn't working in her studio she actively supports and works with Omaha Music Teachers Association, OMTA, where she has served as President, President-Elect, Finance Com
Jan enjoys working with people of all ages. She motivates students with creative incentive programs and selects music materials to fit each individual's needs. When Jan isn't working in her studio she actively supports and works with Omaha Music Teachers Association, OMTA, where she has served as President, President-Elect, Finance Committee Chair, Web Coordinator, and Co-Chair of OMTA's Music Fundamentals Fair and Trophy Festival. Currently she serves on the board of OMTA as Treasurer. Jan has been an adjudicator at different festivals including, Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festival, Nebraska Music Teachers Association District Festival, and the National Piano Playing Guild. Jan is married to her husband, Bob. She is mother to two children and two cats. In her free time she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.
