Covid Policy

JRZ PIANO Instruction is currently offering in studio lessons only.

Safety and comfort levels are based on individuals preference and are top priority.

JRZ PIANO reserves the right to change this policy as the course of this Pandemic evolves causing changes in National and Local Safety Guidelines.

Safety Precautions are listed below:

The Instruments are spaced 6 feet apart for social distancing.
Lessons are scheduled with time in between to allow for disinfecting instruments, door handles, and teaching materials.
The schedule will also allow students to enter and leave the studio without contact with other students. In some instances, students may be asked to remain in their car until the preceding student leaves.
Mask wearing is agreed upon between student and teacher. Everyone's comfort level and safety is top priority.
Students are required to sanitize their hands before and after lessons.

Currently all students are taking lessons in the studio.

If the situation changes and lessons are resumed using virtual apps such as

FaceTime or Zoom the following procedures will be used:

Arrangements will be made as to which party makes the initial contact in advance.
Students should have their device set up in advance to avoid time spent on this during lesson.
They also need to have all of their materials ready.
Teacher will be responsible for sending lesson assignments via email the following day unless student prefers to write their own assignment.
Parents may need to pick up music and materials as needed.
